First of all, don't believe the one who gives you best price that you can't find from most of other sellers. They may tell lies to catch you, after you choose them, they change the pirce or conditions. It may surprise you that all the changes may have reasonable excuses. You can't either believe the one who never says no to each of your requests. Most of the sellers have a bottom-line, you can only negotiate above the line.

Secondly, sample and payment . Don't choose west union when you do business with someone at the first time, choose paypal, even alipay(the most famous online payment in China) . With paypal, you can get back your money easily. With alipay, you can pay off after you receive what you want . You need to ask for sample before larger purchase. The sample is very important as some Chinese sellers sell too many products.

You can get exporters from China in alibaba, tradetang, made-in-china, globalspec .... Alibaba is the biggest one. Some sellers in alibaba say that they're factories but in fact they're just trading companies. You should be more careful while buying from them. One year ago, one of my friends bought laser pointers from one Chinese sellers . He said that he had a large factory and they were making lots of electronic products. He acted as he was rich and busy. My friend trust him and paid for the order. At last what my friend got are broken products. The seller disappeared, his office disappeared too. He is not a factory at all.

Talk to other buyers before your payment, and get as much imformation about the sellers as possible.
