The SciPhone i68 is a Shanzhai mobile phone manufactured in China. Due to the various incremental models released it is also known as the i68+ or i68++

Like most of the SciPhone branded (clone) phones it features dual sim functionality, which allows users to run two separate sim cards at the same time. Some (official) SciPhone allows users to run only one sim card by session, they must to choose what sim to use at the phone starting menu.

Technical specifications

Touch Screen
The i68 features a touch screen interface and a single "home" button similar to an Apple iPhone.

Dual Sim
Dual SIM card functionality allows the user of the phone to run two sim cards simultaneously. Due to the additional drain on the battery an extra sim card creates the majority of i68 phones are shipped with an extra battery by the manufacturer. The SciPhone i68 4g is reported to work with both Pay as You Go and Contract sim cards.

MicroSD Memory
The i68, like many modern mobile phones, supports the MicroSD expandable memory format.

Network Compatibility
Unlike most phones the Sciphone i68 is sold at a low cost completely unlocked for use on any network. Due to the different standard of Sim cards used the i68 has been reported to be incompatible with the Hutchison 3G network.

In May 2010 a new WiFi enabled model of the Sciphone i68 WiFi was released for sale in the UK and Europe. Dubbed the Sciphone i68 WiFi, this new model is the first of a handful of new Sciphone WiFi phones to offer modern wireless internet connectivity on the go. This new WiFi i68 resembles, almost exactly, the original i68 phone in appearance. Users of the WiFi i68 are able to access free wireless internet when in range and check email, load and view websites and access social media sites such as Facebook or Twitter. The iphone i68 WiFi model of the phone also features improvements to the touch screen and interface but retails at a higher price than the original.
